Yacht Importation into the EU

Dominion Marine can help you with the importation of your yacht in to the EU through our business partner, European Yacht Imports Limited.

To avoid any complications with customs you need to use full importation if:

• your yacht was purchased or built outside the EU
• your yacht was built within the EU for export but now needs to return to EU waters
• your yacht is non-EU owned and is to be used for third party charters within European waters

This applies to commercial yachts.

Temporary importation can also be used in some cases: a yacht with a non-EU flag, a non-EU registered owner or a yacht that is not used by an EU resident.

Working alongside European Yacht Imports Limited we can import the yacht through France where a formal EU importation document is issued.
We will deal with all the paperwork and always base the fee on the value of the yacht.
