ICM Spring Cleaners
The ICM Group allows its staff two volunteer days a year to help local charities. A team of seven chose to take part in the Crossroads Care charity shop challenge for businesses, taking over one of the charity's shops for the day and raising as much money as possible.

On Friday 05 April a team of runners from ICM took part in the first KPMG Prom Relay in aid of local charity Rebecca House. The ICM team included Rob Jones, Adam Russell, Karen Calladine and Ranulf Lucas.


Crossroads logo
The ICM Group, based on Prospect Hill in Douglas, gives all staff two days each year to do voluntary work for a charity of their choice. One of the charities to benefit from staff time this year is Crossroads Care.


Isle of Man
The Manx Budget has come in for praise from rival Crown Dependency and finance centre, Jersey. Journalist Peter Body, in a blog on the Jersey Evening Post's site, commented on the financial situation in the Isle of Man compared to Jersey.

ICM have put together a team of four athletic staff for the 2013 KPMG Promenade Relay, taking place on the 22nd March. They will be running in aid of the Rebecca House Children's Hospice which provides care and support for children on the island.

Mark Byrne, ICM group director and corprate and fiduciary specialist, comments on the FATCA style tax agreement between the UK and Isle of Man which was announced in December 2012 and any impact this will have on the group's clients:


New premises
ICM Group directors Chris Allix, David Jackson and Mark Byrne, joined Ian Lennox, of local brewery Heron & Brearley, for the signing of a tenancy agreement by the two parties, with ICM group as the lead tenant of the refurbished Douglas and Clarendon Hotels, from 2014.
