Mark Byrne to speak at Aviation Management Seminars

In 2009, ICM Aviation launched a new service in partnership with aviation law firm, Gates & Partners, and asset management specialists IBA. This new service was designed for banks, lease companies and operators with aviation assets who were dealing with the potentially lengthly and costly process of repossession. In collaboration with the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry this partnership offers a complete package of services and expert assistance in implementing the repossession process through to post recovery disposal of valuable aviation assets.

Interest in this new service was very high and prompted events management company, Aeropodium, to approach ICM Aviation Director Mark Byrne for his collaboration in future events. Following on from the successful seminars held in London and Dublin, Mark will be talking about the advantages of the Isle of Man Aircraft Register, Isle of Man ownership companies and other issues such as Circulation Tax at the following seminars, organised for September 2010:

• 02 - 03 September, Swedish Air Force Museum, Linköping, Sweden: European Corporate Aviation Summit. This seminar is aimed at business aircraft operators, aircraft owners, manufacturers, consultants, bankers, lawyers, airport executives, leasing and financing companies, insurance companies and all professionals with an interest in the growth of business aviation and future opportunities in Europe.
• 09 September, Hilton Reykjavik Nordica, Reykjavik, Iceland: European Aviation Asset Management. This conference will explore the latest developments in aviation asset management in Europe as well as the future of asset management services and is designed to provide the platform for high level debate, exchange of ideas and information as well as extensive networking opportunities.
