Risk Management and Practical Solutions Seminar
Following a very successful and well attended seminar held in London in November 2009, a third seminar entitled Risk Management and Practical Solutions will be held in Dublin, Ireland, on Thursday 8th April 2010, organised by Aeropodium.
The seminar is aimed at banks, lease companies and operators with aviation assets. The main speakers are Mark Byrne, Director of ICM Aviation, who specialises in company formation and aircraft registration, Owen Geach from IBA, specialist aviation consultants and Aoife O’Sullivan from Gates and Partners, aviation lawyers.
Topics to be covered include the legal issues that banks and lessors need to consider, the importance of getting the contracts and paperwork right in the first instance and forward planning should a lease or loan go wrong, asset recovery and the steps that need to be taken from aircraft tracking to reconfiguration and the role of the Isle of Man and its aircraft register in the repossession process and how holding companies provide a safe and effective haven into which recovered aircraft may be placed.
The audience will be invited to ask questions and share their experiences. There will also be contributions from Brian Johnson, the Isle of Man’s Director of Civil Aviation and Martyn Fiddler of Martyn Fiddler Associates Limited.
